Founding of the company

Two brothers, Réginald and Lionel Sergerie, both experienced refrigeration technicians, create Les entreprises de réfrigération LS, located in St-Louis (Terrebonne).

1983

The LS family grows

The founders’ respective sons join Les entreprises de réfrigération LS and moved the executive office to 2921 Dagenais Boulevard, in Laval.

1985

Creation of a new metalworking division

Originally specializing in refrigeration and the maintenance of air conditioning systems, Les entreprises de réfrigération LS offers new metalworking services.

1986

A new natural born leader joins the team (Maurice P.)

Les entreprises de réfrigération LS adds a new building services technician, Maurice Péladeau, with many years of experience working on buildings in the downtown area.

1988

A new location for Les entreprises de réfrigération LS

Because of an increase in business activities, Les entreprises de réfrigération LS moves from Dagenais Boulevard to their current offices on Guillet Boulevard (Laval). Their office space increases from 1,200 sq. ft. to over 5,000 sq. ft.

1990

First large-scale contracts

Les entreprises de réfrigération LS receives a contract to develop an artificial skating rink and install air conditioning systems for a prestigious 51-floors office tower located at 1000 de La Gauchetière Street.

1993

Purchase of a plumbing company

In order to meet the ever-increasing demand for work related to building services, Les entreprises de réfrigération LS acquires Plomberie Bellerose Inc., a specialized plumbing firm.

1997

New leaders

It’s time for new challenges. Sylvain Sergerie and Maurice Péladeau take over the reins of Les entreprises de réfrigération LS.

2001

New office opened

To better serve its clients, Les entreprises de réfrigération LS opens a new office in Boucherville.

2003

Completion of a major contract

The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec inaugurates its new building, with air conditioning systems installed by Les entreprises de réfrigération LS.

2004

Arrival of a new partner

Due to continued growth, Les entreprises de réfrigération LS appoints one of its highly experienced project managers, Dany Lepage, as a partner.

2009

Truck fleet

Les entreprises de réfrigération LS expands and is now able to mobilize resources in record time thanks to a fleet of some 35 service trucks.

2010

Expansion by acquisition

The company acquired the firm Syraco, a contractor specializing in applied air conditioning. In line with succession plans, Daniel Valiquette, a long-time project manager with Les entreprises de réfrigération LS, becomes a partner in the group. The same year, Les entreprises de réfrigération LS decides to concentrate its energies on air-conditioning and refrigeration services.

2011

Signing of a major contract in air conditioning, the MUHC

Les entreprises de réfrigération LS is awarded a major contract: providing air conditioning for the A & B complexes of the new McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).

2015

Appointment of three new partners

Jonathan Lebeau, Pierre Guay and Michel Baron, respectively director of refrigeration, director of finance and director of the service department, become partners at Les entreprises de réfrigération LS.

2015

Creation of the Mémoire Collective programs

Les entreprises de réfrigération LS is proud to change the face of construction in Quebec by presenting its innovative program: Mémoire Collective.

2017

LS is 40 years old.

We open our new office in Laval on Delauney street

We move our refrigeration and service operations

2018

Maurice Péladeau retires after 32 years of service.
